I wrote the guard watch for the day. A SSG failed to report for guard at 0700. at 0710 I knocked on his door. After no response I tried to enter the room but the door was locked. There is a little leprechaun that comes and visits my truck every night. Two days in a row the switches and buttons on my electronics have been changed from their normal operating positions. One day everything works great, the next day I can’t get the systems to work. It would be funny if I didn’t need the stuff but being able to talk to people and jam some freqs is a big deal.

Read the doctrine. There are rules / text book scenarios and then it is followed by an assessment of how your situation compares to an ideal situation and then you apply common sense so that to get a decent solution.
