I’m not going to give you some bullshit gung-ho, hooah, kill answer.

But I can tell you that I hate them with every burning fiber in my body. To me, they aren’t human. They’re nothing more than a waste of food and oxygen. Once you’ve seen videos of insurgents beheading people, shooting women for breaking bullshit laws, or crashing four airplanes into American soil, you realize that people like that don’t deserve to live. 

I can’t tell you how I’m ACTUALLY going to react, because I don’t know. But I have a good idea. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.

God I hate civilians. They have these opinions on people they have never met in a place they have never seen. These PEOPLE have friends and family that love them. There are extremists all over the world. These terrorists operate the same as gangs in America. Troops on the ground in the middle east do nothing to protect your American rights or Freedoms. The death of an American soldier is just that, a death. I feel bad for all the American families that have lost their love ones. Every death I have seen here has been preventable. This is not some Hooah, we are America fighting for our freedom mission. We are an element of the Inter nation Security Assistance Force (ISAF). We are here for the liberty and freedom of the Afghan people. We are here to assist their police and army until they can stand on their own. 

Insurgents do not fight us. This is how they stay alive and continue to fight us. They go into the local villages and find the weak. Men who have no money, no jobs. These men can not afford to feed or cloth their families. They had a bad crop, their store isn’t making any money, or the Americans have come through to destroy their way of life because it conflicts with our values. What they do is push a button, pull a trigger, or just call a phone so they can make more money in 5 minutes than they do all year. They aren’t on a side. They just want to be good fathers and husbands. What happens when we kill these men. Their wives and children are forced into the streets and starve to death, literally.

Every threat I have engaged has been just that, a threat to my fellow service members or civilians on the battlefield. I kill them so they don’t have the chance to kill others. I feel joy that I was able to save a live. Any enemy that is killed is a direct result of that person taking adverse actions against any person regardless of nationality, religion, or race.
