I hate all anti-Afghan and anti-Muslim statements. Do you know who watches in the towers that secure our American FOBs? Who prepares and serves food for service members? Who guards the gates? Who searches everything coming on and off our bases? Who cuts the soldier’s hair? Who sells local novelties to troops? Who translates between soldiers and locals? … I’ll give you a hint, not Americans.

There are currently 70,000 troops on the ground in Afghanistan. We don’t pay rent, for our plane flights, food, or for our medical care. Do you know how much it costs to ship building materials, food, and people around the world. American tax payers, it’s coming out of your pocket. I work with a group of 40 guys. We drive 4 trucks and 2 helicopters almost every day. So much for ending our dependence on foeign oil. Did you know the drivers, pilots, and boat captains moving our goods are not Americans. We contract other people from other countries and pay them while thousands of Americans are unemployed.

What drives me wild is the United States is in such a state of disrepair. Schools are closings, roads are cracking, and the government is corupt beyond belief. So what are we doing? We are in Afghanistan using our tax dollars to build their schools, pave their roads, and end corruption in their government. Let’s fix our shit before we attempt to aid someone else.

All explosives, weapons, and fighters are coming into theatre from Pakistan. BinLaden was found and killed in Pakistan. What happened to fighting terrorists and the countries that harbor them. If we are going to take an active role and hunt terrorists why have we not invaded Pakistan to capture and kill Taliban leadership.

Public beheadings and the abuse of women goes against the teaching of the Koran and all local laws. Be upset when these things happen and demand accountability from the people responsible. I feel that the Afghan government, FBI, CIA, Border Patrol, and the Port Authority are to blame. 

How do we stop terrorist from attacking America? Give the border police the funding they require. Raise the standards that the TSA and  Port Authority operate by. Use the CIA and Special Operations command to engage all legitimate international threats. Sending a hundred of thousand  paper pushers and a handful of rifleman half way around the world does not stop a 747 from flying into a building in the states.
